Is Starter really free?
The intended self-hosted Starter edition has no Valeran software licence fee for eligible manufacturers. Your hosting and AI/API usage are separate. Managed services are optional and paid. We confirm availability, included scope and licence terms before onboarding.
Do I need technical help to self-host?
Someone must deploy and maintain the software. That can be your team or a contractor. You can also discuss paid management with Valeran.
Why is there an application?
We check that your first quoting workflow fits the supported edition and agree a useful handover scope. Buying managed service is optional.
What can the quote assistant price?
Start with a defined workflow using approved prices or formulas. Repeat products and configured options are practical starting points. Complex or unsupported work can still be collected for review.
Is the product available now?
